Međugorje is a village in the Herzegovina municipality of Čitluk, today part of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It has become famous because of a series of alleged sightings of the Virgin Mary by six young people.

It should be noted, however, that the Catholic church has not approved these apparitions.
